HELP!! with keeping enlarged image to stay! Anyone...?

Problem 1: How to make the enlarged image linger or remain until another one is activated -- thus eliminating blank space flashing inbetween other activations.

Problem 2: How to align photo caption to the right of the enlarged image --as opposed to underneath it.

Desperately needing some help

Much appreciated in advance. Don't know if another script is better suited for this.
