3) Describe problem:
I am using this script but replacing the text within the A tag with a PNG image and using IEPNGFix V2 to use png images as the navigation items. Everything works well except that in IE6 when I select the menu item with a dropdown associated with it (in this case the practice areas link") the menu item directly below it loses it's alpha transparency.

I realize that this has more to do with IEPNGfix than the dropdown script, but I figured I would give it a shot. And, there may be some other users out there who this could help.
