Default gAjax RSS Ticker - seems won't, so how to get it to work on Safari (Mac)?

    Hi,

    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...sescroller.htm

These pages use 'gAjax RSS Ticker', and they work fine on IE, Firefox and Mozilla - but I can't get them to work on my Safari browser (on iMac).

    http://www.greenhammer.110mb.com/rssBBC_News.html

Can you advise me please on how to get this ticker - or maybe another ticker would be better - to work ok in Safari?

    PS 1:
Advanced RSS Ticker will not work on this site, (I believe) without dropping the 'fopen' etc functions, and changing to "curl functions".

    PS 2:
One thing about my Mac is that the clock has the original date of about 1970, because the battery is flat. Could this be the problem?

    PS 3:
These RSS news feeds work ok on my Mac from my paid site - but this site uses the 'Advanced RSS Ticker (Ajax Invocation) [which will not work from my 110mb site, see 'fopen' etc above]:

    e.g.
    http://greenhammer.com.au/rssCNN_News.html
    or
    http://greenhammer.com.au/rssBBC_News.html

    Thanks & best wishes, PeterD.
    PS
Just some info about my rss for weather:
Now fixed. Somehow I had given incorrect url at weather.com

    Hi again,

Looks like I had incorrect link above, and looks like this is the correct link to the DD ticker I used (can confirm this in 'view source' on my quoted pages):

    All the best, PeterD
