hi. on my site (www.unforgiven-band.co.uk), whenever i click on a link to download a song it automatically plays it in the web browser in quicktime. i want it to play in a separate windows media player window. please help

How downloads are handled is entirely up to the browser.
You can use target='_blank' on the link to open it in a new window; beyond that it's pretty much out of your hands, as far as I know. Unless there's some fancy CLSID trick, but that would only work in IE.
