Ajax xml Ticker - next prev button

3) Describe problem: I am trying to create next prev button for this script to show next or prev item when next or prev button is clicked. I have tried a lot but not succesfull. Any help on this problem?
I tried changing the script to show next or previous but not able to cancel the setTimeout, i tried to use clearTimeout but it doesnt work for me as i want the next or prev item to be displayed instantly after the click and not to wait for the delay.
Any help would be appreciated.

Please don't post the same question repeatedly on the forums. It doesn't ensure a faster response (quite the opposite actually).

There's no easy way to add pagination to this script unfortunately. You may want to look at Ajax Pagination script instead, which should do most of what you want, minus a fade in effect.
