Jim's DHTML Menu v5.7 and /images
Using: Jim's DHTML Menu, v5.7
Staging site for client: http://ns.cdyn.com/ancientlight
Problem:
In order for arrow images in menubar to work, I need them in a root-level /images directory. BUT, if I don't put them also in one dir level above the ancientlight root (i.e., http://ns.cdyn.com/images/) then the home page (ancientlight/index.html) shows broken arrow images.
So, how do I eliminate http://ns.cdyn.com/images directory since once I move the site to the web host, I won't have this level of access?
http://ns.cdyn.com/images contains two image files for the home page (index.html) to work:
tri-down1.gif
tri-down2.gif
These same files are in the
http://ns.cdyn.com/ancientlight/images directory in order for subpages to show arrow images.
thank you in advance,
karine

Hi John,
thanks for that idea. You know, I tried direct paths for the images in the config.js file like this:
"rollover:http://ns.cdyn.com/ancientlight/images/tri-down2.gif:http://ns.cdyn.com/ancientlight/images/tri-down1.gif"
but that didn't broke the script.
So I see that you are suggesting to leave off the "http:" part. I'll try that. thank you,
karin
