Fixed tooltip

I have tried several scripts by Dynamic Drive for tooltips, and always seem to encounter this problem in IE6:

When I use this script in a FORM, and the form contains OPTION (or 'drop-down') boxes, the tooltip falls BEHIND the drop-down box so that the tooltip is partially hidden.

I have tried adjusting the z-index figure, but to no avail.

Can anyone help?
