    Default DHTML Billboard Script Newbie Question

    1) Script Title: DHTML Billboard Script

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...lbillboard.htm

    3) Describe problem: The ids, billboard0 etc. - I do not see/understand how or where they are declared or defined in the CSS. It is a small item I am missing, I am sure. If I need to define it - what exactly would the #id look like?

    Many thanks,
    Frieda

    <style type="text/css">

    /*Modify attributes of #contentwrapper below as desired*/
    #contentwrapper{
    width: 230px;
    height: 200px;
    border: 1px solid black;
    background-color: #C6FFC6;
    padding: 5px;
    }

    .billcontent{
    width: 100%;
    display:block;
    }

    </style>

    You don't need to define them in the css. Just follow the installation instructions for the script and it will be fine. For your information, these id's are only used by the script to fetch each block of billboard content. Some styling of them may be done in the style section, but is not required. If you want to do this, they would be selected:

    Code:
    #billboard0 {
    rules here
    }
    #billboard1` {
    rules here
    }
    And so on. If you do this though, be careful not to override the:

    Code:
    .billcontent{
    width: 100%;
    display:block;
    }
    styles. And if anything you do does mess it up, just get rid of that part.
