rsspausescroller, rss content refresh automatically?

3) Describe problem:
I want to show a website with rss content on a great screen.
Now I have tried the rsspausescroller script.
My Problem is that the script doesn't refresh the content of the rss source automatically. The cache can realize if the content is older than the default option but it only works then the site will be reload.
I don't want to refresh the site manually because the screen with the rss content should be a "stand-alone" application.

An idea (possible not the best): is it possible to reload the site just before the rss ticker starts with the first entry again? (not with a reload-timer because then the site will be load during a scroll process)

Have anybody an idea how to realize?
