Textual Tooltips II: A Question

3) Describe problem:

I have not tried to use this script yet. Before I attempt to go through the upheaval of implementing it, I have two questions about this script:

1.) Is it possible to allow it to support images?
2.) Is it possible to set a 'default' text/image to appear while the mouse is NOT hovering over anything?

ADDENDUM: I have already begun toying with this script, but I have been unable to get it to work. I have absolutely no idea how to make it display images or set up a default text for onmouseout. The page I've set it up on is located here:

I have made a demo image of roughly what I am striving to create, where the script would display the 'wizard' image and the text beneath the picture. The demo of the site is located here:

Any help I can get in achieving that goal would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Both of the above are possible, but implementing them would come a lot easier actually by rewriting the entire script, as the current one is restricted to fading in/out just text. I'll add this script to those to be rewritten, though when that will happen will probably be at least 2-3 weeks away.

I'll certainly try to make due in the mean-time.

I'm considering trying to learn Flash to get it to achieve the desired affect.

One thing I would like to ask if you're reworking the entire script is that you entertain the possibility of making the fade-in area of the new script able to have a certain opacity to it, so that it might be able to be laid over an image (or to set an image as the background).

I don't know how feasible that is, but I believe it would greatly enhance the versatility of the new script. Many thanks!!!

Was just wondering if anyone had looked into possibly checking out that rewrite? If I understood you correctly, it was already in the todo queue, right? Just curious - please vlet me know one way or another. Thanks!
