    hi everyone

    i m using this code to insert mpg file in html.

    <object classid="clsid:166B1BCA-3F9C-11CF-8075-444553540000" codebase=",5,0,0" width="200" height="200">
    <param name="src" value="Jogi.mpg">
    <embed src="Jogi.mpg" pluginspage="" width="200" height="200" autostart="true"></embed>

    i m testing this offline. This code works fine and shows video fine in firefox but does nothing in internet explorer 6. i have shockwave player installed both in firefox and internet explorer.

    Hi! I grabbed your code, and will put in one of my own MPG's and test it for you in Opera. Somehow it doesn't surprise me that it's OK in FF, but not in that piece of junk known as IE! Here's a link to one of my Test Sites. I'll do it in there. Try visiting that site tomorrow. (June 27.)

    I've ot to do something too. The straight EMBED tag pulls up that dreadful QuickTime, and I was using that to display MPG's and to pre-buffer MP3's, but the other day it stopped working. In a vain attempt to get it working, I've even done good old FORMAT C: and reloaded everything twice now. Nope!
