    Default css not showing up with php in code

    I'm pretty new at php just learning. I'm working on a basic little blog, for a project and having problems with my css not showing up when i put my php into my xhtml. Can anyone explain to me why this might be happening here's my code.

    Code:
    <?php
    	require('php/db_connect.php');

    	$sql = "SELECT id, title, date, content FROM jchamb_blog ORDER BY date DESC LIMIT 3 ";
    	$result = mysql_query($sql);

    ?>

    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">

    Default Obviously

    Because you spelled Hamburger wrong.

    Everything looks a-ok, have you been able to connect to the database ok?

    What exactly is happening when you run this script?

    Ha thanks for catching that.

    I found the problem, which i should have thought to check much sooner.
    The permissions were messed up on the server and it wasn't allowing my css file to be read.

    Thanks for taking a time to look at it though I really appreciate it.
