    Default Faux Column Technique Problem

I'm using the faux column technique to display two vertical lines down the length of my page. The background image is applied to #wrapper and everything works fine. However, when I apply a background image to the header section (#branding) in order to created the rounded corners effect the vertical lines start to appear in the header section as well.

How can I prevent the vertical lines from displaying in the header section?

All my pages are Valid XHTML 1.0 and CSS 2.1

I'm using the Blueprint CSS framework.
