Ultimate Fade in Slideshow - how to require FIRST image to fade in?
Hello,
We use the Ultimate Fade in Slideshow on several sites and in general love it.
I'm having a problem however that I cannot solve.
I've noticed on the example page for the Ultimate Fade in Slideshow, the FIRST image in the slideshows ALWAYS "fades in" (ie, every time the page refreshes or reloads, the first image "fades in").

However where I am using the script on sites, the FIRST image ONLY fades in for the initial time the page is loaded. After that when the page is refreshed, the image loads in a default fashion (ie without a fade). This is even in random order, where the image would be a different image, but it doesn't "fade in " anymore.
Example:

Please help! I cannot figure out what is different about the setup from the example page to my pages.

Any help out there?
Well, as I'm still waiting here is an interesting clue: the fade-in for the first slide works fine each time when I view the files locally, but does not work on the server. If this is in some way related to the server I'm wondering if there is a way to override it.
I'm testing in IE and Firefox for PC.
Thanks, I would love any and all replies to this topic....

Use This Url Instead
Hi folks,
I've made a embarrassing semi-hack (it's not even good enough work to call a hack) to the original link I sent, to get it presentable for the client. More on that below.
In the meantime, I've moved the original to this link, please use instead of the one above to address my question about a fade-IN for the first image.

(For the original link here's the embarrassing semi-hack: I added a white "blank" image as the first image for each slideshow, so the first image one sees is actually the second image, which fades in reliably. Since the first image is white, you can't tell if it is or isn't fading in. However, this isn't a good solution, and causes a silly pause at the beginning of the slideshow, so I'm really hoping someone here can help me out.) Thanks!
