Internet Explorer Problems

But how can I fix this version 7 of an Internet explorer?
Every 5-10 minutes after starting up IE7, a "We are sorry but Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close." This happens all the time, sometimes it could just be scrolling down a page, not necessarily loading a page. However, all I have to do is drag this window to the corner of my screen, and continue using IE. Why does this happen, and how can a solve it?

First of all I wouldn't say you need to switch completely to Firefox especially if you are a web developer. You have to use IE along with Firefox as both are popular browsers.

Try some Browser Hijack removal programs to see whether any attempts to hijack your browsers as well as use some antispyare/antivirus programs as the error you've reported doesn't seems to be a script error for me. From your description it seems that you are getting this whenever you open any website not on any particular site?

Hey! Why has nobody mentioned the best Browser of them all? Opera! My advice to Web Users, although I agree with whomever said that Web Developers, sadly, have to do certain tricks to make that non-compliant piece of crap, IE, do what it's supposed to do, is to use IE once, and go to opera.com (or firefox. com or whatever it is) and get a half decent browser. I prefer Opera myself, but you'll never hear me putting Firefox down. If there were no Opera, I'd be using Firefox for sure!

Back in the infancy of the 'Net, I was using good old Netscape! I'm sure that the others among you who are also older than the hills, remember Netscape with fondness.

1. http://img200.imagevenue.com? Are you sure that a Site of that name exists?

2. Is this file "img.php" located in your main folder? (If you host your own site, that would be the one referred to in Apache.)


3. Does this image "image=03717_Untitled-1_122_133lo.jpg" also exist in your main folder, or is it in a sub folder called, for instance "images/". If so, your URL will have to be:

http://img200.imagevenue.com/img.php..._122_133lo.jpg

Don't ask me how on earth IE came up with "crownroyals" etc. Only it could do that! But your screen shot was fine in Opera!

Hey! That's better. I tried my suggestion, and Opera didn't day" URL not found. It said" Image does not exist on this server. So it got the URL alright. It just couldn't find the image! Therein lies the problem. Bad path to image, not URL!
