Ultimate Sildeshow is blank in IE6

This slideshow script works fine so far in Firefox2.0.0.14, IE7 and IE5.5 but in IE6 it is not showing up, just a blank white space where the slideshow should be. Couldn't find anything about it specifically in the forum searches I did. You can see my test page here:

FYI, I am using 'stand-alone' versions of IE6, 5.5 and 5 for testing on Windows XP and I'm wondering if that's part of the problem. Thanks!

would also like to add that this script does odd things to the links on the page. If you hover over the bottom right text link it will look as it should, but when the next photo fades in, the text will change to a lighter weight version of itself (it's set to normal on both hover and link styles!).
