Default Loading Lytebox through Flash btn

Hello, I'm in need of some assistance implementing lytebox on a flash webpage. It is for a press page. On the click of a thumb I would like to load a pdf. through lytebox. If pdf is not possible, then I could convert them to .jpg. Any help would be great. Thank you.

Do you mean you have a full flash page and you're trying to get lytebox to open on top of it?

Or you just have some flash elements that you want to serve as buttons to open lytebox?

This looks helpful with the latter. Let me know if you need help on how to implement it.

yeah I'm updating a full flash page. The page contains thumbs (buttons) that should activate lyteframe. Lyteframe should be above the page. I've been trying to figure this out for days now. This is a link to someone describing how to, using AS2. I don't know how to change the actionscript2 to AS3.

Well, the ActionScript isn't hard. I'm not sure I agree with the use Lyteframe within a full flash framework, though.

Here is the difference between AS2 and AS3 as far as linking in concerned.

Can you go into a little more detail about what AS you're using? What exactly isn't working?

It's hard for me to help without knowing the details.

    Hey Lexer2d,

I just looked into this more and realized that it's not going to work how that page you linked to describes. You'll have to use the External API with AS3 to link to javascript functions.

When I get some time I'll play around with it and see if I can get it working. I'll post back if I do.
