    I've been looking for the same code.
    I just want a very simple search engine for my website.

    If anyone could help me out as well, that would be great =)
    I really would like to avoid using other search engine script websites. I don't want to have a search engine that has "powered by... " underneath.

    Is your website database powered? If so, it might be possible to create your own search engine.

    Otherwise, it's a rather complicated operation. I'd suggest going with the Google toolbar. Google lets your customize the look/feel of the page, quite a bit. So you can work in your own branding.

    If you upgrade to the professional package or if you're a non-profit organization, you can get rid of the "powered by google" logo.
