can any one help me with similar tutorials or some kind of resources for doing this?

That script is uncredited and I couldn't find anything exactly like it on Google searching for some of the more unique names it uses for its elements. The way it was set up (the main script code is from a directory and domain off site with no permissions or index pages) I'm thinking it is a proprietary feature of the host made available to their clients like the one running the site you linked to in your post. It could probably be stolen, though we don't do that here. This seemed pretty close:

Also, Frog is similar in many ways, mostly just not as slick looking 'out of the box':
