    Default Tag photo script?

Is there a script that will tag a photo like Flickr and Myspace (hover over image area and a outline appears with text)?

    That's a two part application:

    1) A script for photo annotation (the correct term to use for this type of functionality)
    2) A backend database to store and relate/associate the tags with the images.

There are tons of options in relation to the second part -- a whole host of free and commerical content management systems. You could also certainly create your own. Let me know if you need any recommendations.

The first part -- now that you know the proper terms -- will be easy to find. Googling will turn up some nice scripts. I did something a couple months ago that had this functionality and used a customized version of Photonotes, which is in itself based on Fotonotes.

I found it fairly easy to implement. You should have a good understanding of how to load dynamic data into your page through a CMS. This is all assuming that you're trying to use this in a dynamic application. If it's just static content that you want to "tag", then inserting a few static captions is no biggie.

    Default JavaScript image tagging solution

The one I found is a commercial solution it called TagHim (http://taghim.com/). Search in google. it has all that you ask but cost 250 euro, so I don't know is that what you look for.

I think it's better to ask developers, there should be contact or something

The biggest difference I see is the backend system. It really depends on your needs. If you're using this for any kind of robust functionality, chances are that you already have a backend system that this needs to be tied into.

Personally, I think it's way overpriced. It would be cheaper in almost every aspect to use one of the free scripts and hire a developer to integrate it into whatever CMS you use. And if you create your own CMSs, like I do, the inclusion of a CMS is a total waste.

This might be extremely judgemental, but I tend not to trust things coming from sites that are using a default Wordpress install. It just hints at laziness for me that they can't even be bothered to theme it.
(In fact, it is extremely judgemental).

The site actually just finished development. The client is launching the site and accompanying print magazine on August 15th. We can't release the site before that for obvious legal reasons.
