User Submitted Info > Assign to Category

Hi all,
Well yeh i really suck at php/mySQL but still looking for some help.

So i have my submit.php file which is basically a form which has title : Message : ect..

What i want to do is when a person uses the submit form on the form there is a drop down list of categorys.. they choose a category from the list and when they submit the info goes into the specific category chosen.
