open in new window

I am using a java script from dynamic drive called outlook bar II. It is a menu bar. I have it placed in a frame and all links are opening in the main frame as needed. I do have some external links that I want to load in a completely new window. I can get it to open in the same window but I want a new one. I have tried a varitey of options.

p.addButton('tinyraider.jpg','Raiders','parent.top.location="http://ds062.k12.sd.us/activities2.htm"');

above is the code I currently have. It loads in the same window. I have tried "blank"- window.new etc...Nothing seems to be able to open an external link in a new window. Any help will be appreciated.

My page is HERE. I am trying to make the links under the links bar to open in a new window. I only have the top two (Raiders & RCAS) opening in the same window but I want to make that change. Again, I have tried a variety of options but none that are useful.

I would also like the make the final email link live. I have not been able make a "mail to" tag work. ANy help there would be good.
