Collapsing Frame Script. please help

the effect i am trying to achieve is like this webpage: www.matchbook.com
if you click the check box in the top frame (where is says "compact view") you will see the left frame collapse. im not sure if they are using a script like the "Collapsing Frame Script" on Dynamic Drive. i'm trying this script on a page with three frames, the top row, left column, and main, but i don't understand how to make it collapse the frame that i want. can anyone help me to manipulate this code so that i can get the left colomn frame to collapse like in matchbook.com?
