    Default Div Hides Mouse In IE

    I have a div that's the width & height of the entire viewable area of the browser window. It's display style was set to block. When this was set, IE7 hid the mouse. I set the display to inline and the mouse now shows up. Any idea why this would happen? I'm using XHTML strict mode.
