im a student doing a final yr project and need some help to develop a login page and any insights yu may have as to back end requirements. Also let me thank all who contribute the scripts I have found very useful.

You seem to be asking a very vague and open-ended question. Care to define exactly what information you're looking for? There is plenty of material that cover various aspects, including general log-in schemes, security considerations, and so forth. A little Googling can go a long way to answer your questions.

By the way, client-side scripting isn't useful when developing a log in system: everything must be done on the server.
