    Question favicon on url forwarding

    Hello Everyone!

I have a question about the favicon script.

    faviconscript
    http://tools.dynamicdrive.com/favicon/

The script functions grea, but when i forward a url to that address, it no longer appears.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

This most likely has nothing to do with the script, which simply generates the standard code required to display a favicon. I'm thinking you're using IE right? IE has some issues with displaying the favicon consistently.

    Hi!

    Thanks for answering!

Actually, I'm using Mozilla Firefox and Apple's Safari.

What does that involve? Is it done with code? If so, what code, involving how many pages? Can you give us an address and instructions to observe what you are referring to?

    I am having this problem.

    http://www.freewebs.com/albosauce

    Works.

    http://albosauce.com

    Does not work.

I use 1and1.com for domain reg. and they use a frame to mask my freewebs account. Is it possible to get the icon to appear?

You need to ask 1and1.com to sort it out for you.

I would think that if the favicon were placed in the root of your domain at 1and1, that should do it.
