Interactive Flash Map

Hie guys i would like ask for yr help i am creating a website which has a flash intro of a world map.So to enter the website clients would have to click on thier desired countries and is redirected to that country's website.and on hovering on that country zooms out.i am using Flash CS3 and if possible ineed the Action Scripting

What you want to do isn't complicated(functionality wise). Depending on how many countries are "clickable", it would be pretty simple.

It's just some mouse events and probably some timeline animations (unless there are more than say 5 or 6 "clickable" countries).

I did something like this,
One way is to create draw your map graffics and cut them into a jigsaw puzzle and place them on the stage as instances of symbols and asign mouse events that go to keyframes or to urls.

The simpler way -if you don't need anything to change button states -you can create "hotspots" by drawing graphics over clickable areas, and setting the alpha to zero and then assign your events.
