Swissarmy postback issue

3) Describe problem: In IE7 the images and controls disappear on postback, works great in FF. Is this a known issue, and are there any workarounds?

I figured out my issue...

This is an asp.net 1.1 site and to maintain scroll position across postback I was attempting to use SmartNavigation="true" in the page directive. I knew this could be buggy, and sure enough removing it fixed the problem. Now if anybody has a solution about how to maintain scroll position across postback....
