layout in css

can anyone help me in creating a css for the layout i have uploaded...

Are those fixed width columns, or fluid?

Have a look at these, and see if it'll help you out. What you'll want to do is to start with a simple 3 column layout (not splitting up the header area off) and then within the 3 column layout, nest <divs> (with fixed height).
