Default color in address bar on website

Is there a script that shows a change in color in the address bar when members log into my website.

I seen a website that did this, it changed to like a transparent red once logged in across the whole address bar. I'm not sure if this would have anything to do with the favicon script or not?

Can anyone shed some light on this?

    Thanks in advance!

i dont think there is... What you probably say was the address bar was highlighted to let you know that the site was related to something bad maybe? eg: virus, trojans, etc...

    Yeah...

Red (at least in FF and IE7) means that there is something wrong with the site's security certificate.

Secure websites turn the address bar yellowish in FF also. I *think* this is green in IE - not totally sure.

But yeah...without those security certificates, the address bar won't change. It's not for design, rather function and information.
