I was wondering if its possible to have a mod or something that can fetch the titles out of a db and display them instead of putting numbers or giving them a name through JS (I cant include php in JS )

This really depends on how your database is set up, and how familiar you're with the server side language (ie: PHP) used to access the database. In general, the checklist for using any server side language to dynamically output client side JavaScripts is the same. As long as what gets output to the browser conforms to the syntax/ conventions of the client side script, as if you've manually added it to the page, it should work.
