Switch Menu default on

3) Describe problem: I've implemented the menu, and thanks to help from folks here - modified it to set a cookie to remember which div was last clicked by a user. I'd like to set it so that one of the div layers is on by default when a user first loads the page - but then uses the cookie settings if the user changes the active layer.

Any ideas? Is there a way to do a cookie that immediately expires.
