Default Break in a Slideshow ???????

    1) Script Title: Ultimate Fade-in slideshow (v1.51)

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...nslideshow.htm

    3) Describe problem: Hello! 1. Is it possible that this script runs just so often like the array images have - without a loop ?! The last picture should be the last picture in the array. 2. Why in the Mozilla Firefox the script runs more slowly? Later i will have 18 Image Arrays. Some of the fields are building together a big new picture. This is changing a few times (not so often like in the example and i don't use all of the fileds). You can see under http://labaracca.wbc-service.com what i like to do with that script. But in the Mozilla Firefox it's really slowly

I would be soooo thank you if you can help me with those problems.

It is used with arrays, so you kinda want to make a puzzle that'll solve it self? You can use the script just a lot of more variables have to be included.

Regarding getting the slideshow to stop after it's shown the last image, see this thread: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/forums/s...ead.php?t=6670 Regarding #2, the JavaScript rendering engine in FF1.x and FF2.x is actually a lot slower than in IE and Opera, for example, so depending on your computer, having so many slideshows running at the same time may start to slow things down.

Ok. Thanks for the answers. The final version definetly have less slideshows than in my example. This is just the first time (entrance). Later i will have one side (9 slideshows) and maybe firefox would handle that fast

Jscheuer's modification works really fine. Thanks for this solution.
