I'm new to all this, so please be gentle

I would like to be able to click on the top level button (e.g. Conservatories) and simultaneously open the submenu and navigate to a new page. But as you will see on the test site, when you click on the word/text it navigates to another page and when you click on the image behind the text, it reveals/hides the submenu. (I have only setup the top 3 buttons)

I'm sure this is something very simple, but I can't work it out for the life of me. Many thanks in advance.

There's a similar thread on this a few weeks back. Basically, if the headers (ie: Conservatories) also navigates to a new page, how would the sub menu be revealed then? Clicking on Conservatories would go to that new page before the sub menu has the chance to fully open.

Thanks for the reply. I see what you are saying - the animation couldn't happen as a new page loads.
I'll have to rethink my menu!
