Default CSS Horizontal hover menu alignment question

    1) Script Title:
    CSS Horizontal hover menu

    2) Script URL (on DD):
    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/hover.htm

    3) Describe problem:
I'm trying to create a header/banner for all my web pages which I can use in an external style sheet. It is a table with a gif and the DD hover menu. I want the hover menu to align at the bottom and right side of the table cell. I changed "float" from "left" to "right" which took care of half my problem, but it reversed the order of the menu (which is OK). But I can't figure out how to move the menu to the bottom.

I put up a test page with a 1 pixel temporary border around the table to better see what I'm trying to accomplish. The page can be found at the link below:

    http://fountaincityfurniture.com/test.html/index.html

Also, the table is 80 pixels high and the gif is 80 pixels high, so why is there a large white space above?

Thank you for any light you can shed and for a great website and forum

Hum, disregarde this please. I just realized I can't use html format in an external style sheet, duh.

Still curious why I'm getting a white space above in the table though.

Thanks again for a great website and forum
