Default Safari has a new developer tool bar

    Hi,
I know this is a CSS board but I thought I would share this with you because it can help you. If you download the new Safari you also get a new developer took kit. I'm trying it out. So far, I still like Firefox's tools better.

Once you download, go to Safari Preferences. Click on Advanced. Click on Show Develop menu in tool bar. Once you have this clicked you can use the menu bar to inspect a page's HTML and CSS. You can also right click on the page to show the Inspector.

Just thought I would share this.

This only for Safari Win, and/or only for Safari Mac?

In any case, IE has an optional developer toolbar, FF has an optional developer extension, and Opera has an optional developer console.

Any browser that has something like this is a good thing as far as I am concerned. Having a tool like this can very often help in diagnosing why a particular problem is occurring in a particular browser.

    Hi,

It's available for Win and Mac. I have a MacBook with Leopard so I get both of the worlds. Although, I find myself on the Mac side more often than not.
