Default Call additional infos from existing XML file

    Hi there,

I'm using a flash image gallery, which uses an external XML file to get the needed informationen of image-url and link target. What I'd like to do is put additional informations into the xml file (like title of image) and have it display as a dynamic text over the corresponding slide.

Since I'm not really a "flash-literate", could somebody maybe point me to the needed changes in the actionscript and fla files to get this done?

    .as file
    .fla file

    Thanks,
    TOM

EDIT: Or even better, how about getting this nice typewriter caption into my slideshow? Which parts would I have to copy over? Link to zip file

Didn't get a chance to look at your files. I'll see if I have time to help you out later.

But since you mention the typer function, take a look at braingiants.com. I find their functions to be pretty easily implemented and well commented.

    That would be great!

Unfortunately, the braingiants.com site seems to be under construction at the moment.

Update: Fixed the link to the ActionScript file - sorry!
