how do you use dhtml and css to create collapsable explorer menu

I am new to javascript and css. I saw on http://www.gowheelchair.com/default.aspx and they use

some of the collapsable control from this website. Do anyone know how to
create left side collapsable menus?

The one from the website looks great and I am too much of a newbie to figure it out. Any sharing of knowledge is greatly appreciated.
