Accordion Content script in ie5.5

It says on the accordian content script info page that the script only works on IE6+. Has anyone actually tested it on IE5.5? What happens? Is there a way of getting it to degrade nicely?

I just tested it (the demo page) and it does nothing. No error, everything is closed and will not open. IE starting with v 5 has a provision for providing alternate content called conditional comments, for example you can do this:

<!--[if lte IE 5.5]>
whatever is here will only be see by IE 5 through and including IE 5.5
<![endif]-->

So, you could have all the content that IE 5.5 cannot see and cannot open in there. There are many possibilities though, how you use it is up to you.
