    Default Dynamic Ajax Content coming in from search engine

    1) Script Title: Dynamic Ajax Content

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...jaxcontent.htm

    3) Describe problem:

    Hello, I am new here and new to Web Design for that matter. I am using the Dynamic Ajax Content script to load content into a main DIV on my page. I am doing this as a replacement for an IFRAME based scheme. Basically I have header, left and right hand navigation which remains static and the content DIV is in the middle.

    What I need to know is: If a user clicks a search engine indexed link to some of my content how can I assure that my navigation loads with this script? Currently this script works great if you come into my site via the front door but I need my content pages to determine if the navigation is present and if not load it. Otherwise if you link to them directly they are orphaned. Thanks.

    Default Ok, nevermind, I solved it

    I used some code that looks like this on the top of every content page:

    <SCRIPT LANGUAGE='JavaScript'>
    <!--
    if (top == window)
    location.href = '../vcmain.html?id=content.html'
    -->
    </SCRIPT>

    and of course I parse the html parameters and feed it to ajaxpage() in vcmain.html
