Need Help in adding DHTML Thumbnail veiwer gallery!

I'm making a website, an art website to be exact.. and I need help with adding the thumbnail veiwer gallery! This is the gallery I'm trying to add:

So when I try to add, the script to my site.. It never shows up? (am I doing something wrong maybe with adding it in the heading part) it doesn't show up.. I've followed the instructions carefully, and attempted to start over a bunch of times, it just never works. I'm pretty new to HTML, and coding.. So could someone please show me how to add the script to my site with my code provided abouve. I have an art site so I want the script to be applied to the images, when someone clicks on them.
