    Default Hide HV Menu on CSS printing

    Hi there,

    I have basically tried everything to hide the HV menu when i print the page using CSS media="print" function, but to no avail (although it is working for other elements on that page).

    I have seen the other thread on this forum with the same question (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/forums/showthread.php?t=260) , but cannot believe there's nobody out there with a solution.

    Thanks for any help, John

    Tsk tsk, you posted this question in the previous thread dedicated to this and then started a new thread.

    I believe that the information in my post here explains it. I'm not completely sure if it's correct, but it's a pretty good guide.

    I've been trying to embed the menu within a table with some limited results. I don't know if I am doing this correctly. The absolute positioning seems to be messing things up. Then in my print.css I use this
    table{ display: none;}
    I can get it to not print tables, but I can't seem to get the menu in a table. It also shuts off all tables on the page. If I could name tables and turn off certain names of tables that would work. ie table1. I don't know how to name a table.
