CS3 Font Help

Well I have Adobe Photoshop CS3 I' kinda new but I've gotten pretty much the hang of it.. Well anyways this morning I was making something and I went to go put font on it and my size was 60pt okay usually that is the size I need but when I typed it, it was not even visable it looked like it was size 3pt or something it was barely visable and I was like what the heck.. SO anyways I tried uping it, now the highest the font size will ago is 1296pt Which is huge but it showed up barely bigger then this text

and then I was clicking buttons trying to fix it and now it's invisable x_X but my layer says I've typed something I just can't see it and yes the font colour is black. I don't know what to do but I need to finish up these graphics and I need help..

Hello you may have used color overlay in blending option which does not allow user to change the color from top menu color option...

Check out for the same and delete the blending option >> color overlay(effect)
