Default A combined fancy slideshow with music ???

    .
    Hi Dynamic Drive friends ...

Coming here for years (deluxe site) but never asked something,
    but now I must ask
I,m not coder - more a kind of pigfarmer code exchanger
    - -

    1.)
Wished to make a cross browser ,fancy, slideshow with music,
and come up with this result:
    .
    http://www.godaw.dk/sfvshow0/sfvshow0.html
    - -

    2.)
But... No way I can get it to work proberly, ?
    - Looong load time (would like to have min 150 imgs in each show)
    - suddenly dropout of shown imgs (no steady rules for that)
    - etc - etc
I,m naturally knowing it,s ,me, and my mixture of scripts,
but I cant figure out Where./.What to do. - And then I give up
    - -

    3.)
I then download the PhpSlideshow from: http://www.ericphelps.com/
and it pleasant me - because it makes the slide on the fly on the
    server - but again:
It dont have the transitions - and I ,fear, the music combination !
(but the show from server on the fly - _is_ a damed good option)
    - -

    4.)
So my question goes something like this:
Based on my idea from my-give-up-attempt
    - Fancy img show (like DHTML Slide Show Script)
    - Combined with background music
    - And 100% cross browser friendly
    .
Did any of you have seen something who ,can-do, this ?
or any proposals how I can come further with my idea.

    Have a nice day./Sven

There's numerous options out there to accomplish what you want to do. I think some of the best solutions for your desires are written in flash.

They tend to be the most user friendly and can be easily configured. Here's one:

I think something similar to that is what you are looking for? It's also very easy to stream music with flash, which cuts down on the load times exponentially.
