    Question compatibility issues

I am fairly new at coding. I am having problems with a program not being compatible with all browsers. I am developing a page 'organization chart for a department' it is suppose to display photos of employees when you scroll your mouse over the name. It is working fine on my browser (Firefox) but the pictures are not coming up on a different browser (IE-7). It's a strange thing because I've checked it on several other computers using IE version 6 & 7 and they display pictures, there is no problem but a few of the computers are still having that issue. (not displaying photos in balloontip command).

Here is the link to the site http://www.episd.org/_departments/tis/orgchart.php

I am using the balloontip on this page, http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...oontooltip.htm

What can I write in there to make it work with most browsers?

Please post a link to the page on your site that contains the problematic script so we can check it out. Also, what browser is the script not running properly for you?

    Default compatilbility issues

I went ahead and made some corrections on my post, here is the link I am having problems with http://www.episd.org/_departments/tis/orgchart.php

However, this problem only occurs on some computers not all. I have looked at the link on computers with older versions of IE and there is no problem. I am using Firefox and the computers that won't display photos are using IE version 7 and 6. (there are a few computers where the problem is happening.)

    Thank you for your response.

Works fine here in IE 7. When a computer has both IE 7 and 6 on it, usually one of them must be the primary IE version for that computer, and the other is a 'stand alone' version. When this is the case, often the 'stand alone' version isn't an exactly accurate representation of what that version of the browser would do if it were installed as instructed by MicroSoft.

Also, sometimes a computer will have its version of IE 6 and/or 7 configured to disallow javascript or just certain portions of the 'safe' Active X components that may be required by some scripts. Third party utilities such as anti-virus and firewalls can sometimes do this too, as can some settings in the Vista operating system.

Thank you very much for your input. I have no idea what the computer operator did to the PC but it's working fine now.
