    Default Million dollar homepage

Hey I was wondering if I were to make a website similiar to the milliondollarhomepage.com, would I get sued by the owner?

It really depends how similar your site is. If you are copying, that is illegal. If you simply have a similar idea, that is probably allowed, if it doesn't resemble it too much. Copyright law is a weird mess. And by the way anyone can sue you for anything-- the law just determines who will win.

For website legal issues I recommend the following webpage. It is run by a man who has a lot of legal resources and has a good deal of knowledge on websites and the law. For that which he does not know the answer he has lawyer friends that he talks to. Very useful.

No it is not illegal, and you can get a free script for it here

It won't work though, novel ideas like this one only happen once, and if you search google you will see the millions of other sites that are already trying to re-do it. All of them failures.
