can i host my application on Win 2003 x64 server?

Since Microsoft does not have a x64 Web edition - can i host my .NET application on a Windows 2003 x64 Standard edition - if i host it in x64 Standard, should i buy CAL's for the users who access my site or can unlimited users access my application?

Sure you can. I have it running in a virtual machine with several sites running on it. You may just need to enable the web services to use them by setting up the web server role. You can do this immediately after installing. FWIW - On the web server edition you can't run SQL server on it. Hope this helps.
