Also, it is better to use a text only editor like NotePad to install a script. Microsoft Office Publisher is about the worst choice of a web authoring tool you can use, as it does things to your source code without asking you about it.
If you need to use a WYSIWYG editor to create web pages and have no idea how to edit the raw code, you probably should be starting out more simply than going right to a fairly complex script like Omni Slide.
But if you have some idea how to edit the raw code, we can probably get you through it. A link to an example of your best attempt (it doesn't have to work) would really help us diagnose the problem(s).
