Well, this may not be related to CODING or SCRIPTING, but it is relevant to this forum nonetheless.
The last time I was on here, about a half a year ago, most of the posts in this forum were along the lines of "How do I use PHP?" or "Help! Frustrated!
". (Without the smilies, perhaps.)
Now, I come on here again, to the PHP forum, and I see actual intelligent questions involving the topic. Is it just me, or are the regular forum-goers actually LEARNING PHP? If so, then congratulations.
No offense, but previously it seemed that PHP would remain some mysterious language of the e-gods forever. Now, though, it seems as though that has changed greatly. Do I point fingers at the wonderful power of Dynamic Drive's elite Top Posters? Or is it just the initiative of the common coders themselves?
Either way you slice it, it seems that PHP is WELL on its way to becoming a web scripting standard. Congrats to Foobar, GNU, the PHP Group, and common coders!
