ie6 issue padding or margin- headache

IM having an issue with ie6 adding padding or margins to my menu on roll over.

ive tried removing the padding but its necesary for the menu to look right in ie 7 and firefox since the design has a an image on rollover and the text needs to move....

since i know theres still a ton of people using ie6..im hoping theres a workaround. Or a better way to do the code.

any help...GREATLY appreciated.

quick solution is you cacn remove all margin and padding in
